Ok, I just thought I would say afew things about my birthday... My b-day was a fairly good day ... I got my Criminal record check in I visited my dad and hung out with some friends... My dad called me Rebekah for the first time ever granted it was in a voice mail after the visit but hell its progress...
The next day I drove to Richmond and obtained a copy of my birth certificate...

So now hopefully on tuesday I will go to the courthouse to get my name changed

Well so far my dad seems to be taking everything well.  He advised me not to tell my grandmother over the phone as that would just cause her to worry.  He told me I should wait till I next see her in person so that's what I am gonna do ... unless of course my name change goes through before then ... Can't have her sending money orders for xmas/birthdays to a name that no longer exists.. Well that's all I really had for today ...
